The Engineering Club inspires long-term interest in STEM in students throughout Los Angeles. As a well-established partner of FIRST, we are devoted to growing engagement within FIRST programs throughout the Los Angeles community and the world, one block at a time.

With five FLL teams, two FTC teams, and one FRC team, all of which are hosted in one room, the LCEC is one of the largest supporters of FIRST in the Los Angeles region.

Each cabinet member is nominated and undergoes a candidacy process prior to the end of the FIRST season during each year. This year, we are taking strides in the candidacy process by implementing an alumni review system and an extensive interviewing process to ensure that our entire cabinet is committed and effective.

Advancement to the Asia Pacific Premier Event

On top of their successes this year, FLL 15735 was given the prestigious opportunity to compete at the Asia Pacific Premier Event in Australia, a chance given to only a select number of FLL teams this year. We'll cheer them on as they travel across the world for compete in July!
