LCEC Hosts Saturday Science Day at City of Hope
On March 21, La Canada Engineering Club headed to City of Hope for their Saturday Science Day, bringing three robots and the hands-on energy we're known for. We ran stations that introduced nearly 60 students to engineering and medical robotics concepts in a way that was interactive and accessible.
Volunteers led small groups, answered questions, and kept students engaged throughout the event. City of Hope set up three dedicated tables for our robots, giving every student a chance to get up close and see them in action. By all accounts, the students had a great time.
It was an amazing collaboration with the City of Hope, and a good reminder of the kind of impact these outreach events can have. We're looking forward to the next one.
