Hello, everyone!
I am Alexander Konakov, running to be your LCEC 2025-26 Media Lead. You might be thinking, Why him? What does he bring to the table? Some of my ideas are that I can make videos for the club and media that will be hilarious for all of you to look at. But seriously, why should you vote for me? I'll start by sharing the experience and qualifications that I bring to the club.

This year, I was allowed to attend the FRC Las Vegas Regional and World Championship. During these events, I worked on team media: recording videos, and starting to combine what I took with my creative ideas. In the past and present, I have experience with using editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro. Currently, I am working on the recap for our FRC Worlds trip, using my significant skills in various editing software. At the start of my freshman year, I did not think that I would have an interest in this field, but after these experiences, I feel that this is the right area in which I am working. Through these trips, I was able to learn how to improve my skills, such as getting better at tracking the robot, knowing when I should take a shot, and keeping my hands steady for filming.

To give our club a trustworthy and clean experience with the future videos, I am provided with professional 6K equipment (yes, the ones they use in movies!) and the DaVinci Resolve editing software, allowing me to give you the best viewing for our future videos, the best quality, and overall perfect experience. Another task that I presume on fulfilling next year is uploading all the photos and videos I can to the club's social media accounts. Just in the past two events alone, I’ve taken over 500 photos and over 20 videos. Capturing these meaningful moments is important to the club, and I promise to fulfill that consistently. Taking photos and videos is something I already do personally, and doing it for the club would bring me more joy, without a lot of hassle.

At this point, you might be thinking about what I want to do for the club if I am elected, and why. My plan for next year is to consistently upload media to the club’s social accounts, increasing the number of posts that we have, not letting the activity of any social media account, whether the platform be TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram, go dry or randomly take a break from posting. I plan on increasing the club’s exposure even more than what it already is. I want to make multiple videos and montages of what I have to promote the club. I want the club to be known not only in La Canada, but in more areas of California, and the United States as a whole. I want to make the club more visible to the public, people of all ages, no matter where they are.

If I am elected this upcoming season, I will make it my goal to fulfill this and make sure the club is accessible for people to discover easily. I want people to engage and join the club, whether it be FLL, FTC, RIDE, or FRC.
