The funds help cover the robotics program registration fee, parts, and supplies. It does not cover any travel expenses if the team advances.
Any donation is tax-deductible and supports the non-profit Blockheed Boosters directly supporting the La Cañada Engineering Club (LCEC) at La Cañada High School in La Cañada, CA. LCEC operates FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge Team 5921, FIRST Robotics Challenge Team 2429, and various Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) based teams based in the Greater Los Angeles Region of California. Known as the Blockheads, LCEC’s goal is to enrich and raise awareness of STEM within the greater Los Angeles community.
